Celtic
The celtic harp (clarsach) is born around 1500 between Scotland and Ireland, and its birthplace is amongst the Gaelic people.
What is the difference with the classical harp?
The first thing that strikes the ear is a more metallic sound that takes the mind to distant centuries.
If you have a thematic evening in mind, a historical reenactment, a particular ceremony, a tipical irish pub for which you desire gaelic music, this instrument is right for you, as soloist or together with instruments from the same traditions, it will give a touch of original authenticity.
